With the first signs of spring hanging in the air I headed over to Perpignan to check out Mavic’s new range of Allroad wheels, tyres and apparel. I’d actually been testing some of the gear for the last few months but this was the first time the media were going to get a look and ride so I was keen to find out what they thought. I haven’t done a lot of riding around Perpignan, fortunately local legends from Caminade Velos where on hand to make sure we found all the good stuff, and boy did they deliver! From sweet single-tracks to rocky descents, gravel climbs and smooth asphalt this playground has it all and was the perfect platform to get mean and dirty on Mavic’s latest kit.
